Leicester City fears losing midfielder to other parties.

Wilfred Ndidi

Ndidi, a £17m January signing from Belgian side Genk has been fantastic for Leicester City since he joined and scored his first Premier League goal for the Fixes in their 2-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday, April 1.

The 20-year-old was signed to replace N’golo Kante who was very influential for Leicester City as they won the Premier League in 2016.
Kante was however signed by Chelsea last summer and Leicester City fear they could lose Ndidi too
N'Golo Kante

Our recruitment department take a real pat on the back for that. We did a lot of homework on him and I think we were one of the first clubs, if not the first, to show an interest in him,” Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare said.
“I think he, and his family and agent, remembered that so we were in the driving seat.
“When other clubs came in for him he remembered the way we went about it first. He had other options."
Ndidi was a 2016 summer transfer target for Arsenal and the Gunners might come back for him after his impressible outings for Leicester City this season.
