has held showdown talks with Granit Xhaka after the midfielder was accused of racially abusing an airport worker.
Wenger met with Xhaka at the Arsenal’s training ground on Wednesday after it emerged he was questioned by police after allegedly calling a worker at Heathrow a “f***ing white bitch.”
Xhaka disputes what was said and Arsenal want to establish the full details of the incident on Monday night.
Wenger is believed to have reminded Xhaka of his responsibilities as a club employee.
Meanwhile, Wenger is set to accept the FA misconduct charge after his bust-up with fourth official Anthony Taylor during Sunday’s win over Burnley.
It is hoped that may lessen the punishment with the FA yet to rule out a stadium ban.
