MFM ripe for NPFL leadership'




Mountain of Fire Miracles Ministries (MFM) FC head coach Fidelis IIechukwu believes his side will have a chance to take over top spot with a convincing win against NPFL league leaders Plateau United..
The Olukoya Boys will host the Jos landlords in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 14 clash at the Agege Township Stadium in Lagos.
IIechukwu said though the Tin City side have proven their worth in the on-going top-flight he is confident his side will unsettle them and claim the three points at stake.
“I believe it’s our turn to take over the leadership of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
“We will chance a possible takeover with a convincing victory against leaders Plateau United.
“Plateau United are a good side with a quality coach in Kennedy Boboye, but we will beat them hands down in the clash.
“Plateau United have energetic youngsters, but we will counter them by playing our own style of the game.
MFM FC are third on the 20-team top-flight on 21 points, four behind Plateau United with a match in hand against Rivers United.
