Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote's net worth has declined on the World’s Billionaires list as Forbes releases the 2017 World’s Billionaires list.
According to the list, Dangote's $15.4billion net worth declined in 2016 by $3.2billion, hence leaving him with a fortune of $12.2billion and on position 105.
Also with a declined net worth but still on the list is the Chairman of Globacom, Dr. Mike Adenuga, whose net worth declined by $4.2bn in the past year.
Unfortunately, the Chairman of Forte Oil, Femi Otedola and the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, BUA Group, Abdulsamad Rabiu, were missing on the list.
Both Otedola and Rabiu, who were worth $1.8bn and $1.1bn, respectively in 2016 and made the world billionaires list, were unable to register their names on the table of world's richest men.
Not left out of the list is Africa's richest black woman, Folorunsho Alakija. The net worth of the Founder and Executive Chairman, Famfa Oil Limited remained unchanged at $1.6billion.
And like Dangote and Adenuga, Alakija moved down the ladder to occupy the 1,315th position from 1,121st in 2016.
