Over the weekend, Igloo cookies hosted an excited audience at the Palms Mall, Ibadan, as award-winning soul singer and “The Voice” judge, Timi Dakolo,rendered an electrifying performance at the “You Deserve a Special Treat” Igloo cookies event.
The event took off to a great start with music from the DJ and performances by dancers and upcoming acts. Kids and adults were thrilled with jokes, games and activities by the MC Porkupyne with many leaving with lots of prizes courtesy of Igloo cookies. Participants also got a free taste of the products from the brand ambassadors.
Afterwards, Timi Dakolo mounted the stage where he entertained the audience with a live band, as they sang along to his songs.The audience went into a frenzy as he invited some of them to sing their own versions of his songs and presented them with prizes at the end of their performance.
Winners from the Igloo games expressed their joy over getting to meet Timi Dakolo. One emotional winner said she never expected a celebrity like Timi Dakolo to be so down to earth and she was grateful to Igloo Cookies for giving her an experience she would never forget.
The Igloo Brand Activation Manager, Juliet Okutagidi, said that the aim of this activation was to give people a special treat to remember; one that would carry them through the week. “We are treating people to Igloo Chocolate and Coconut Cookies and an entertaining experience with Timi Dakoloand we are not done yet. We are going to Festac on 26th March being Mothers’ Day and Port-Harcourt in April 1st.
