“Nigerian people are extremely fed up with the leadership style of President Buhari who the people had taught to be the messiah, however their hopes were dashed when he became President, the nation has continued to suffer a huge economic downturn which hurts the people so much, poverty has taken a sharp occupation and spiral effect in the lives of most Nigerians, recession, ethnic division, religious persecutions, terrorism, corruption and everything Buhari campaigned against has taken a double portion in his government. “These are the reasons the people want to take to the streets in Nigeria to say “Enough is Enough” to the clueless and wicked government to pave way for a better leadership that can take the country out of the wood”.

Taiye Taiwo joins Swiss club Lausanne Sport

Former Nigeria international Taiye Taiwo has joined
Swiss side Lausanne Sport on a six-month deal after leaving Finnish club HJK Helsinki.
The 31-year-old defender, who made 54 appearances with the Super Eagles and scored a total of 5 goals, have played for some of Europe’s top clubs like AC Millan, Dynamo Kyiv and Marseille.
His new team Lausanne are currently on 7th place in Switzerland League table, with 18 points from 18 games – 29 points behind League leaders FC Basel, and just two points ahead of bottom team FC Vaduz.
Ultimately, Lausanne Sport will be Taiwo’s seventh club in Europe, having played for Marseille (from 2005 – 2011), Milan (from 2011 – 2013), QPR (on loan in 2012), Dynamo Kyiv (on loan in 2012/13), Bursaspor (in 2015) and HJK Helsinki (from 2015 – 2017).
