Heart attacks are deadly and surprisingly they present different symptoms in men and women.

The classic symptoms like chest pains all the way down one arm associated with males may not necessarily happen in women. With women the symptoms are usually less prominent and almost 'missable'.

These symptoms are usually pointers to heart attacks in women:
1. Chest pain
Chest pain is an indicator of an onset of heart attack in women. It comes very uncomfortable and usually as a feeling of tightness around the chest and in some case difficult breathing anywhere around the chest and not the left side as common in men.
2. Light headedness
A constant and persistent feeling of dizziness and light headedness is usually a pointer to heart attack in the nearest future.
3. Fatigue
Fatigue is a huge indicator of the onset of a heart attack. Unexplained fatigue, getting excessively tired after small chores or exercises etc are signs to look out for.
4. Stomach Discomfort

5.  Neck/Jaw/Back Pain
Jaw pains, neck and back pains are to be looked out for in women. Back and neck pains come suddenly without any form of physical activity and in some cases pain can be recorded around the lower left side of the jaw
6. Shortness Of Breath
Unexplained shortness of breath is a warning sign especially when it (shortness of breath) gets worse when lying down and improves when one gets up. Sometimes it's accompanied by nausea and sweating
