Brandon Maxwell plays with the 'tank' trend with new R-T-W Collection at the New York Fashion Week A/W17.

The stylist (known for his works with Lady Gaga) turned designer showed off  a collection of simple trend he attempted to turn glamorous with minimalist details. Making good use of black, white and blue hues, Brandon does clean lines for the minimalist collection.

With known supermodels including Joan SmallsJourdan Dunn and Bella Hadid walking for the womenswear brand the presentation tilted towards under whelming! As much as the designer tried to make simple glam statement a lot of the looks were dated (nothing special here) no piece stood out unique.

Brandon Maxwell makes a good attempt with clean cut lines, great tailoring and minimalist elements on a mix of evening dresses, dense jackets, bombers, form fitting pants, skirts and more.

Petal hems, puffed up sleeves, slouchy fit, sweetheart necklines, sultry slits and asymmetric lines were some of the details he attempted on the pieces to make them come alive (and not even those worked)!
