John Mikel Obi Super Eagles captain moves to China without his family

Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi made the move to China without his partner Olga Diyachenko and twin daughters, Pulse Sports have learnt.

Mikel Obi in the January transfer window signed for Chinese side, Tianjin TEDA from Chelsea.
The midfielder who is now the captain of the Chinese Super League club made the move to China without his Olga and their daughters, Mia and Ava.

Mikel’s partner shared a photo on Instagram of the Nigeria international on a video call with one of his twin daughters.
“My smiley bum bums and their mini chit chats #giggles #daddysgirl,” Olga wrote along with a photo of Mikel smiling while speaking with his daughter via a video call platform.
Mikel is still mourning the death of his in-law Diyanchecko, the father of his partner Olga who died after a long-term illness.

Olga took to her Instagram to announce the death of her father; “we said our last goodbye to you today daddy you were not just extraordinary as so many said today. You were a legendary man, father, friend, companion, husband and grandpa. Your strong hand is holding my hand for life. I love you My rock, my life my Dad  Rest in Peace monkeypops,” she wrote along with a photo of her dad carrying one her twin daughters."
The Diyankeno family is a popular and powerful family in Russia close to President Vladimir Putin and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

Mikel met Olga started dating in 2013 after reportedly meeting him in London where her late ran a chain of businesses.
