Despite being on the losing side as Leicester City fell 3-0 Manchester United on Sunday, February, 3, Nigerian midfielder Wilfried Ndidi was voted BBC Man of The Match.
Wilfried played the whole 90 minutes in the Premier League clash and impressed with his passing abilities and tackling despite being on the losing side.
He was voted Man of the Match of the game by BBC.
Announcing Ndidi as the Man of the Match, BBC Radio Live anchor, Matt Elliot revealed that he was impressive by the speed at which he integrated into the game despite having just two training sessions before the game.
In a midfield battle that pitted him against the likes of Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera and Henrikh Mkhitaryan of Manchester United, the 20-year-old held his own.
The Nigerian midfielder will hope to get back to winning ways with Leicester City in the FA Cup Fourth Round replay on Wednesday, February 8.
Next for them is a Premier League away clash with Swansea on Sunday, February 12.
